Subscriptions are a powerful tool that allow you to sell product(s) in a recurring fashion.
When creating or editing a discount in Discount Kit, you'll be able to target subscription product(s). You also have the ability to limit the discount to run on only the first payment, limited to a number of recurring payments or on all recurring payments.
Does this integrate with all applications?
Discount Kit uses Shopify's subscription primitives directly, so these settings should work out of the box with most subscription applications!
Important Technical Notes:
The discount amount is copied directly from the parent order to subsequent subscription orders. For example, if you have a "10% off when you buy 2+ items" discount and your initial order contains both a subscription product and a one-time purchase that qualify together, the subscription product will continue receiving the 10% discount on future orders even though it no longer meets the original quantity requirement alone.
Discount persistence: Once a discount is applied to a subscription, subsequent recurring orders will continue to receive the same discount even if the original discount is later deactivated or deleted. This is because the discount details are copied to each recurring order at the time of creation.
